Before departure I was really excited to spend some good times in Italy: relax, be offline and to refill my energy tank which I hope will last until Christmas. Yes, because for the next months I do have some challenges to face. First of all there is my further education work, my study buddies and I need to complete our group work pretty soon. After that, I need to start my own complimentary work, which I need to hand in by January. At work we’re in the last stage before launching the new website. To not forget is my community activities which always take time and effort. And besides this, in mid November I’ll be back in military service for 3 weeks.

My wife and I did a small road trip in Italy. We stopped for 3 days in Jesolo. The water park there, Acqualandia, was really fun. Beside the crazy radio 105 team of “lo zoo di 105” the waterslides were awesome. Check out the video (not mine). After a long 7 years I went back to visit my grandmother in Fianema Italy and finally met my 2 little cousin’s Grace and Stefan. Together with the kids we went to see “il palio di Feltre” which is a medieval tradition still celebrated yearly. One day we went up the mountain and tried to do some excursions. Lunch was just great there! For the last half of our vacation we stopped at Sulzano and there, except for a day excursion to see ‘Carmen’ at the Arena di Verona, we mostly chilled and went out with my Italian friends. That’s basically it, fun times. As usual…here are the pictures.
